The Doberman Pinscher Club of Houston was formed to protect and advance the interests of the purebred Doberman Pinscher. The club hosts two AKC sanctioned specialty shows each year and sponsers DPCA Working Aptitude Evaluations in addition to other events. Members include breeders, exhibitors, performance enthusiasts, rescuers, and pet owners.
